I am using this pump in a small pond with a small waterfall – it is a strong, hard-working pump and works just fine in this application. I wouldn’t recommend it for a big pond, but for the smaller one it works great. My “pond” is only 2 ft X 4 ft and I don’t have the pump turned all the way up to full force.

    Beckett G210 (210 gph) pond pump, June 4, 2006

I have used this pump in my 4′ diameter pond with fountain statue in the center. The inlet on my lotus flower statue is 3/8″. The outlet on the pump is 1/2″ so I have a reducer. I also have a flow restricter on the line so I can adjuct the flow which is acceptable. It will give a nice dispersed spray a foot+ in the air on my statue. It has worked fine since 1998 and just died after 8 years of near continuous running. I got it at Home Depot & they still sell it for about 50. I’m going to buy another identical one. I have it in the Beckett filter box model MFB235 with foam filter. My pond has fish and is under a tree so the filter box has kept the crud out of the pump. I’m not always good on regular filter cleaning and at times the flow has almost been starved to the pump. But with out the filter I would be cleaning the pump inlet screen all the time in my application.

works great … installed easily … does what it says … strong little sucker ! only wish I have was that it was adjustable … water height (pressure) … other than that … price, craftmanship and ease of installation … would definitely buy again.

Great Waterfall Filter, December 4, 2010

I purchased this Waterfall Filter for use with a Tetra Pond Debris-Handling Pump DHP3600, Ponds up to 3000 Gallons, Tetra Pond Tubing, Corrugated, 1 1/2 Inch x 20 Feet, and Tetra Pond Bio-Active Pressure Filter BP1500-UV, Ponds up to 1500 Gallons. The adapters they provided with the Waterfall were 1″ and 1.25″ intake adapters. I tried several things like a ton of plumbers tape and looked for connection adapters, none of them worked. Then, after some time, I eventually found that you could force/shove the 1.5″ Corrugated tubing through the intake hole without any of the adapters! Now I have a nice, clean, & powerful Waterfall! No visible leaks from the tubing and intake hole. I placed some of the pond liner underneath the waterfalls and sloped it down so any leakage from the intake would flow back into the pond, just in case. My Koi are happily swimming around the pond and the water is nice & clear! And, you could also use lava rocks for the biomedia bag that they provide, it is much cheaper.

I put in a small pond last year with a box filter that just never cleaned well. I added another small pond this year and bought the waterfall filter for it. It’s a great filter, was a breeze to assemble and install, it works as advertised and is just what I wanted.

on time! perfect condition! great packaging. However, please put something of relative size in your pictures. Item is larger in real life. Still perfect, though! Thank you!
