No it won’t be laying eggs, when they spawn it is a very active you will see them chasing each other around
I Have a question about pond fish.
Last year most of our fish were killed due to the freezing conditions and only two survived. I recently just bought some medium sized shubunkins. One of the original ones keeps hiding around one of our plants where it will stay motionless for long periods. I was wondering if its laying eggs???

they need a big environment to grow to their full size. koi fish can grow up to a meter long so be sure you know what youre getting yourself into before you buy one

nice collection of kois though maybe giving away or selling the chagois will sparkle up the pond more with your koi collection. make sure you add an UV lite sterilizer to keep your pond sparkling clear without green, foggy water.
